Welcome — I’m Megan Lynn, I’m Megan, a M.Sc. and PhD candidate in Transpersonal Psychology. Transpersonal Psychology takes into account the whole of human experience including the spiritual, the communal, and the ecological all within the context of the global ecosystem in which we live. My focus is socio-political issues: how they are shaped, and how we relate to them and to each other.

I draw heavily on critical theory alongside transpersonal psychology to examine the forces at work beneath the surface of current events. If you’re looking for someone to confirm what you already think, this probably isn’t your newsletter. I have a reputation for presenting the opposing viewpoint in an effort to encourage critical thinking and expand perspective beyond the boundaries of our own lived experience and conditioning. What we believe is shaped by where we've been. Understanding that opens the door to understanding each other and allows us to find common ground, and ultimately, solutions.

Weaponized Faith: Scripture, Politics, and Culture War, my debut book, is projected to be released June 2026. It is the first major work to come out of the Spartan & Sage project.
